The draft timetable is now online, with an opening day on African lessons and Malawian opportunities, a second day on rights, markets and digital opportunity, and a closing day on partnerships, finance and exports.
The draft programme for the Forum is now available on the website. Day 1 (Wednesday 25 November) opens with an official ceremony and a keynote on lessons from Afreximbank’s CANEX programme, followed by parallel track sessions on scriptwriting, fashion styling, songwriting and the creator economy.
Day 2 (Thursday 26 November) focuses on commercialising creativity: evidence on Malawi’s creative industries, African policy lessons, a masterclass on intellectual property, and track sessions on film production, fashion brand protection and music distribution. The day closes with a film awards gala.
Day 3 (Friday 27 November) turns to partnerships, finance and exports, including a session on financing Africa’s creative economy under the African Continental Free Trade Area, before a roadmap of commitments and next steps and a closing Pan-African film showcase.
All speakers and facilitators are proposed until independently confirmed, and sessions may change. The final programme will be published ahead of the Forum.
